Visual user guide to using the interactive maps
The Map Window
The map window provides an enlarged view of the Proposals Maps. At the middle top, bottom, left and right panes of the map window, an arrow button can be found. By clicking on the arrow buttons, the user can move from one map window to another. The city of Brighton and Hove has been split into 16 map windows, using the arrow buttons to move around the city.
Interactive Policies
By hovering your mouse over the Map Window main map image, this produces a tip tag, indicating what policies apply to the relevant position of your mouse.
The Map Key
At the top left hand corner of each Map Window, the "Open Map Key" button can be found. Clicking on the Open Map Key button, opens the Proposals Map map legend (key) in a new window.
